The Diamond In The Rough CROWNS Council is a unique service opportunity for professionals from a variety of fields. The program offers a unique chance for individuals to support the mission of Diamond In The Rough while adding value to young members (GEMS) in the program based on their professional experience.
The Diamond In The Rough CROWNS Council Program is designed to create a network of individuals and business leaders to create atmospheres where our members can gain insight, encouragement and support from adults who are interested in participating with the CROWNS College & Career Council. Through this unique model and a preferred pathway, busy professionals can build connection, lend their professional expertise, leverage their network, and serve as an advocate for middle & high school girls.
Participants are provided unique coordinated opportunities to make a positive impact and serve as a "real model" for girls at various stages of their college and career pursuit. Whether participating in workshops & webinars, hosting unique experiences, providing professional advice or one of the many other ways to get involved, The Crowns Council program is a great opportunity to make an impact that can be truly be life changing.

The mission of the Diamond In The Rough CROWNS Council to help us equip our GEMS and prepare them for their bright futures. We are able to do this through workshops, webinars, fieldtrips, unique experiences, and expanded resources & networks. To ensure we able to continue to offer quality experiences and serve more girls, we have incorporated annual dues for Council Members to help offset the cost of CROWNS related programs and to expand our programs to reach more girls and families.
Those who are selected to join the CROWNS Council each year are asked to make a tax-deductible contribution at one of three levels to the organization which is used to provide assistance in these three primary areas.
